At the Kick off event the contestants are shown the playing field and given the concept,
specifications and rules for this year's contest. This is where
imaginations and designs start flowing. You can just see the 'wheels turning' as the teams gather
all the data and information they can.
Rules for a successful kickoff
Be prepared to transport your kit contents with you when you leave.
We will be using the gift card again this year, so the amount of material
you need to transport is not large.
Charge your batteries because there may be limited electrical
outlets available.
Bring your camera!
Special BRAIN training at Kickoff
At the Kickoff event there will be a special quick-start training class
for advanced programming of the BRAIN controller (and some info on the
basics).
If you would like some help in installing the BRAIN software, bring
your laptop.
Attendance at this class is limited to 2 persons from each team.
These 2 team members may attend the class while other team members
are inventorying the kit and having a closer look at the field. This session
should last no more that 45 minutes.
** The following teams have
not returned their "Return Kit." We cannot process your application or issue
you a BRAIN controller unless we have this kit!
